Terms and Conditions

Before purchasing any piece of Art please consider that each piece is a hand made item.
Hannah Collins Art will only send pieces that she is 100% happy with and will not be able to make any further adjustments to the finish once they have been received, except in circumstances where pieces have been damaged in transit.

Shipping
Shipping/postage costs are included in the price displayed on each item for sale.
This is based on size, weight and destination. The cost includes the physical packing materials as well as the cost levied by the courier.
All pieces will usually be shipped 7-14 days after purchase. NB: this is not inclusive of commission pieces.
Once shipping has been booked you will be supplied with a tracking number, either by Hannah Collins Art or the courier service provider.
All works or Art will leave Hannah Collins Art in a condition they see fit for sale. Hannah Collins Art takes photographic evidence of the condition of the pieces before shipment.
All Art work will be sent on a standard shipment, unless a quicker (or slower) service has been requested.
If ordering art at busy times of the year, Christmas for example, shipping times can be longer.

Payments and Payment Plans
Payment for items in our store can be made in a variety of ways.
Woo-commerce payments offers multiple ways to checkout, some are available in your local currency too.
We also accept credit card via stripe, PayPal, Google pay and Apple pay.

New for 2023 are Payment Plans. There are three options available to choose from which are shown below the item, before you add it to your basket.
Pay in 3 lets you split the cost of your item over three months after the initial 10% deposit has been paid. Pay in 6 lets you split the the cost of your item over six months after the initial 10% deposit has been paid. Pay in 10 lets you split the cost of your item over ten months after the initial 10% deposit has been paid.
The future payments are not automatic, but reminder emails are sent three days before the next payment is due to be paid. Items will only be sent once all payments have been paid, the deposit holds the item for you. If at any point you change your mind payments will be refunded via the payment method used to complete checkout, the item will then go back on sale.
The future payments for the payment plans are the responsibility of the customer, if future payments are missed and no contact is made to Hannah Collins Art, Hannah will cancel the order. If an order has been canceled due to no contact you forfeit your right to use the payment plans for any future orders.

Payment for commissions can be made via any of the methods above, excluding payment plans unless previously agreed.

Payment for all Art work must be received prior to shipping.

Customs, Import and VAT Duties
Since leaving the EU in January 2021 customs/import/VAT duties may be applied to any orders made from the EU to businesses in the UK. Please check if these apply to you and how much they may be before purchasing any art. I have been notified that couriers are applying transport fee's, please take this into consideration if you are making a purchase from inside the EU.
All other territories may also be liable for customs/import/VAT duties.
Any customs/import/VAT fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
Hannah Collins Art has no control over these charges.

Returns and refunds
Returns will only be accepted within 14 days of purchase. All Art work will need to be returned in the same condition they were sent in (unless damaged in transit to client), with all original packaging. The buyer will need to pay the return shipping costs, which are non-refundable.
If a piece of art has been damaged in transit photos of all packaging will be required. Photos of the damaged item/s will also be required.
If the Art works are over £100 in value it is advised that they be sent via a traceable courier or with adequate insurance cover.
All items will be fully inspected upon return and any refunds will be given back via the means payment was made. If any damage is found to the piece on it's return, that hasn't been caused in transit, then no refund will be given.
Art work will not be able to be exchanged or re-made due to each piece being unique.

Commissions
A commission is a bespoke piece of Artwork that a potential client has instructed Hannah Collins Art to make.
Hannah Collins Art will work with clients on their desired colour choices, in her own style. She will not replicate, or reproduce another artists work.
Once the final design has been agreed upon no further changes can be made.
A 50% non-refundable deposit will be required before the commission begins.
Most commissions have a 4-6 week completion time. This time represents the sourcing of materials/boards, painting and drying times. Although Hannah will try and keep the time scale to 4-6 weeks, there are occasions when this may be extended due to longer times for sourcing materials or the colder months having an effect on the drying times of the oils.
Payment of the remaining 50% plus shipping costs, must be made prior to shipping.
Commission pieces will be non-refundable unless damaged in transit (see returns policy).
If the commission does not meet the clients desired request then Hannah Collins Art reserves the right to re-sell the Art work at a price they see fit.

Hannah Collins Art owns all copyrights to all images and associated text on this website.
Hannah Collins Art also owns all copyrights to each piece of Art work they create. The copying of any images is strictly prohibited.
Once a piece of Art is bought, the copyright still remains with Hannah Collins Art.
No reproductions, prints, duplication's or copies shall be made.

Monitors
The colours depicted on computer monitors or mobile devices may not be true to colour in real life. Hannah Collins Art has made every effort to use photos which best depict the art as they are in real life.
The colours may also differ between devices. 

General
Hannah Collins Art reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at anytime. If full payment has been made then a 50% refund will be given.
When checking out you will be asked to select a tick-box that shows you have read and agree to the terms and conditions set out on this page. If you have not read these term's and conditions prior to purchase, you forfeit any rights stipulated in the above sections.

In these Terms and Conditions the terms “we”, “our”, “us” refers to the artist, Hannah Collins Art.
By visiting our site/and or purchasing/commissioning Hannah Collins Art, you engage in
our  “service” and agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions and policies referenced on this page. The terms and Conditions outlined apply to all users of this site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.
